The overhead tricep extension targets the triceps using a dumbbell or a cable machine.
How-to: Stand or sit with a dumbbell in both hands or a rope attachment on a cable machine. Extend your arms overhead with the weight above your head. Bend your elbows, lowering the weight behind your head. Extend your arms back to the starting position.
Focus: Keep your elbows close to your head and avoid arching your lower back during the exercise.
